1. Introduction

TerroirTop ("the App") is a mobile IoT device management application for modern agriculture — vineyards, orchards, tea gardens, greenhouses, and field crops. "TerroirTop" is the App name; the brand and registered trademark is TERROIR.TOP.®.

The App is developed and operated by Ningxia GeoSense Technology Co., Ltd. ("we", "us").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Provided by you

  • Account credentials: username, password, email, phone number

  • Server configuration: endpoint URL, single sign-on authorization tokens

  • User feedback you submit

2.2 Collected automatically

  • Device information: model, OS version, unique device identifier

  • Network information: IP address, connection type

  • Usage data: access time, feature usage statistics

  • Diagnostic data: crash reports, performance metrics

2.3 Business data

Based on the backend platform you connect to (e.g., gem.geosense.tech), the App displays:

  • IoT device information and sensor telemetry

  • Alerts, dashboards, and audit logs

  • Customer/tenant organization structure

  • Logbook entries recorded by you or your colleagues (text, photos, location), where Logbook is enabled for your organization

2.4 AI features

When you use the AI Assistant, “Ask AI Assistant” on an alert, or “AI Smart Fill” in the Logbook, we process:

  • the questions and text you enter;

  • the alert information you choose to send;

  • the device data, alerts, and Logbook entries the AI reads in order to answer;

  • your AI conversation history (stored on our servers so you can review it later);

  • AI usage per account (number of requests and usage volume), for usage statistics and quota management.

The App asks for your explicit consent before you first use an AI feature. If you do not consent, AI features are not used and all other features continue to work.

How these providers process and retain data is governed by their published terms of service and privacy policies.

4. Cross-Border Data Transfer

Crash and diagnostic data collected by Sentry is transferred to and stored on Sentry's servers located in the United States. By using the App, you consent to this cross-border transfer for the purpose of error monitoring and reliability improvements. The data transferred contains no personally identifiable information in its raw form (names, emails, or phone numbers are not sent to Sentry).

All other data — business data, account data, push notifications, authentication, and AI requests and conversations — is stored and processed on servers within mainland China.

5. How We Use Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve App functionality

  • Deliver alerts and push notifications

  • Account authentication and security audit

  • Diagnose and fix crashes/errors

  • Provide AI features (answering questions, Logbook smart fill) and track AI usage

  • Comply with legal obligations

6. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Exceptions:

  • With your explicit consent

  • As required by law

  • With the third-party services listed in Section 3, strictly for the stated purposes

7. Your Rights

  • Access and correct your account information

  • Delete your account (via the Profile page or by contacting us)

  • Delete AI conversations (in the AI Assistant)

  • Withdraw consent, including consent to AI features (please contact us; after withdrawal the App will ask for consent again before any AI use)

  • Submit complaints or feedback

8. Intended Users

TerroirTop is designed for adult professional users — agricultural operators, enterprise administrators, and technical personnel. The App is not intended for minors under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from users under 18.

9. Data Retention

  • Account data: retained until account deletion

  • Crash and diagnostic data: automatically deleted after 90 days

  • AI conversations: not deleted automatically; retained until you delete the conversation or your account. Temporary conversations are deleted automatically when they expire.

  • AI usage records (model used, token counts, and processing time, aggregated per user per day; the text of your questions is not written to our platform logs): retained for as long as necessary for usage statistics and quota management, and deleted or anonymized after account deletion

2. 我们收集的信息

2.1 您主动提供

  • 账号凭据：用户名、密码、邮箱、手机号

  • 服务器配置：服务端地址、单点登录授权令牌

  • 用户反馈：您主动提交的反馈内容

2.2 自动收集

  • 设备信息：型号、操作系统版本、设备唯一标识

  • 网络信息：IP 地址、网络连接类型

  • 使用数据：访问时间、功能使用统计

  • 诊断数据：崩溃日志、性能指标

2.3 业务数据

基于您所连接的后端数据平台（如 gem.geosense.tech），本应用展示：

  • 物联网设备信息、传感器遥测

  • 告警记录、仪表盘、审计日志

  • 客户/租户组织架构

  • 您或同事记录的日志簿内容（文字、照片、位置；您的组织开通日志簿时）

2.4 AI 功能

当您使用 AI 助手、告警「询问 AI 助手」或日志簿「AI 智能填写」时，我们会处理：

  • 您的提问和输入的文字；

  • 您选择发送的告警信息；

  • AI 为回答问题而读取的设备数据、告警和日志簿内容；

  • 您的 AI 对话记录（保存在我们的服务器上，便于您日后查看）；

  • 按账号记录的 AI 使用情况（请求次数与用量），用于用量统计与额度管理。

首次使用 AI 功能前，本应用会征求您的明确同意。您不同意时不会使用 AI 功能，其他功能不受影响。

4. 跨境数据传输

由 Sentry 收集的崩溃与诊断数据将传输至并存储于 Sentry 位于美国的服务器。使用本应用即表示您同意此跨境传输，仅用于错误监控和可靠性优化目的。传输的数据不含真实姓名、邮箱、手机号等可直接识别个人身份的信息。

除此之外的所有数据——业务数据、账号数据、推送通知、身份认证、AI 请求与对话——均在中国境内服务器存储和处理。

  • 提供 AI 功能（回答问题、日志簿智能填写）并统计 AI 用量

6. 信息共享

我们不会出售您的个人信息。以下情形例外：

  • 经您明示同意

  • 法律法规要求

  • 第 3 节列出的第三方服务按既定用途进行必要的数据处理

7. 您的权利

  • 访问、更正您的账号信息

  • 注销账号（通过"个人资料"页面，或联系客服）

  • 删除 AI 对话（在 AI 助手中删除该对话）

  • 撤回授权，包括对 AI 功能的授权（请联系我们；撤回后本应用在任何 AI 使用前会重新征求同意）

  • 投诉与反馈

8. 适用用户

TerroirTop 面向成年专业用户——农业从业者、企业管理员和技术人员。本应用不面向未满 18 周岁的未成年人，我们不会有意收集未满 18 岁用户的个人信息。

9. 数据保留

  • 账号数据：保留至账号注销

  • 崩溃与诊断数据：90 天后自动删除

  • AI 对话记录：不会自动删除，保留至您删除该对话或注销账号；临时对话到期后自动删除

  • AI 使用记录（所用模型、token 数与耗时，按用户、按天汇总；您的提问原文不写入我们的平台日志）：保留至实现用量统计与额度管理目的所必需的期限，账号注销后删除或匿名化
